II.Online application (no witness is needed) (Recommended)

Client may apply through APP named “壹隆环球” and follow the guideline step by step.

III. Offline application

1. In Person

1)  Visit CMBI Singapore Office

2)  Read carefully the Account Agreements, Risk Disclosure and the Personal Information Collection Statement. For cash account, please read client agreement for cash account opening; For margin account, please read client agreement for margin account opening.

3)  Submit the completed “Account Opening Agreement-Individual” to your Relationship Manager or Account Executive. Please click here for the download page;

4)  Provide copies of the required documents.

5)  Let your Relationship Manager or Account Executive to witness your signature, identity documents and explain the relevant terms and conditions and risk to you.

6)  Once your application is reviewed and approved, you will receive a Welcome Letter containing your trading login details.

2.  By Post (Not applicable to persons who open account with PRCID)

1)  Read carefully the Account Agreements, Risk Disclosure and the Personal Information Collection Statement. For cash account, please read client agreement for cash account opening;
For margin account, please read client agreement for margin account opening.

2)  Completed “Account Opening Agreement-Individual”.

3)  Get the following suitable person to witness your signature and to certify verification of your identity documents:

By a Justice of Peace or a professional person such as lawyer, notary public, certified public accountant or chartered secretary;

(Please note that the certifier has to attach his/ her name card or clearly state his/ her registration number in the documents)

4)  Alternatively, the identity documents may be verified with the following procedural steps:

issue a cheque (with an amount not less than SGD$10,000 and bearing your name as shown in your identity document) through your bank account at a licensed bank in Singapore; The payee name is CMBI (SINGAPORE) PTE. LIMITED - CLIENTS' A/C.

the signature on the cheque and the signature on the account opening form must be the same;

the new account will not be activated until the cheque is cleared;

5)  Mail the completed and signed account opening form and all the required documents to:

6)  Upon receipt of the account opening document, our Relationship Manager or Account Executive will contact you for completion of account opening procedure.

7)  Once your application is reviewed and approved, you will receive a Welcome Letter containing your trading login details.
